School Garden:
Students plant vegetables in fall and spring. They monitor growth of seedlings and make routine observations. Linked to garden activities, students learn about the history and nutritional values of the vegetables they are growing. August 2016- May 2018

Tulip Garden:
Students planted tulips in partnership with Journey North international seasonal monitoring project. Students measured and weighed their bulbs prior to planting. Contact with other schools participating with the project enabled students to compare results.

Bird Feeder Station:
All students grades 1-4 worked with their respective classroom to create bird feeders. Third graders maintain the bird feeding station throughout the year by rotating feeders, and refilling.

Outdoor Artwork:
Holy Trinity Aesthetic Club, comprised of 4th graders, worked to create signs directing people to the newly installed tulip garden. They designed signs by authoring text and selecting font and colors to be used. Next, they primed the wood, painted and stenciled the letters.
