Solar Celebration
March 20, 2017
All students, grades 1-4 learned about Solar Energy in Science Classes. In Sacred Studies they learned that not everyone had electricity. As a result, all students grades 1-4 at Holy Trinity raised money by reading in order to purchase solar lights to send to students and families in the Sudan. In March 2017, Holy Trinity held an all-school celebration to reflect on the benefits of solar energy and the culmination of their fundraising drive. An all-school assembly was held and classes were conducted without lights for the rest of the day.
