November – December 2017
The Aesthetic Club meets twice weekly and is open to 4th graders. Students create visual arts to support and encourage our school’s Green School Initiative. They incorporate real-world, natural, spiritual, and imaginative concepts to inspire their realization of a variety of outcomes. The Aesthetic Club drafted designs to paint on recycling cans that fellow students use to collect paper and plastics around the school for recycling.

Recycling-Paper and Plastic January 2018: Each classroom collects its paper and plastic waste in separate containers. The 4th grade is responsible for weekly collection of paper and plastic recycling from classrooms and depositing in a dumpster located at our school parking lot. |
Crayola ColorCycle -Marker Recycling
Crayola ColorCycle – an amazing new program devised to turn used markers into energy! The three Holy Trinity Primary School fourth grade classes of 2014-2015 designed and created a box for marker recycling. The art teacher, Marla Tolson, coordinated the 4th graders efforts to accomplish their goal. The Primary School bin is located in Parish Hall. Any used markers are recycled– even non-Crayola brands. The markers will be sent to a facility where they will be converted into clean fuel. This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more! |
